You'll save a bundle and live a lot longer. We live out in the suburbs (Manotick/Ottawa) so we need to keep a car for emergencies but I take the bus or bike as often as possible. We were able to cut our car insurance in half. I bought an iPod Shuffle and ride the bus with my eyes closed listening to jazz or other music. I actually enjoy the commute now. Who would have known. The high price of oil has actually improved my life. So take that big Oil.
